Lets discover computer science concepts and skills by creating personally relevant, tangible, and shareable projects. Click here for more information and to register. 

 Students will learn about programming for the physical world by blending hardware design and software development. They will design and develop a physical computing device, interactive art installation, or wearable, and plan and develop code for microcontrollers that bring their physical designs to life. 

Time: 4:15pm-5:45pm

Grades: 3rd +

Students will be taking home a BBC: micro:bit and future workshops will be offered for more advanced projects.

Get your kids ready for robotics and computer programming!


This hands on Lego® class is just for you!  Our WeDo class is a fun and easy way to learn about robotics. A team of two children will build a variety of fun contraptions that can be plugged into the computer and programmed to move via a USB cable.  Lego's programming language is block based like scratch.

JR. FIRST LEGO LEAGUE - Only One Spot Left!

Each year, FIRST LEGO League Jr. presents a new and exciting Challenge to ignite the creativity of children age 6 to 10. Each team of up to 6 children begins the exploration of this real-world theme with an exclusive LEGO® Education Inspire Model. Using this model as a starting point, they design a new model of their own with LEGO® elements. As they work, they learn basic engineering and programming skills with LEGO® Education WeDo and apply those concepts to make their model move. Teams also document their work in an Engineering Notebook and share their journey through a team Show Me Poster. Throughout their experience, teams operate under the FIRST LEGO League Jr. Core Values, celebrating discovery, teamwork, and Gracious Professionalism®.  Click here for more information and to register.

 Need to build your skills in certain areas?  Never played Minecraft on a PC? This is a great session to join to work with one of our Minecraft experts as we challenge you to build new worlds and creations on one of our 4 multiplayer server environments.  Bring your creativity and your best ideas to our private, Maker Mill administered Minecraft environment.

Learn how to code & explore logic while improving your typing skills.  Learn how to sequence commands, identify patterns, use procedures, and utilize loops using Python!  This workshop is interactive and very hands-on. Students should have previous knowledge of scratch or another block based programming language.
