Mini-Makers GLCAC Story time Monday 2/9! Featuring "The Mitten"

Come join us during our Mini Maker morning we will be having visitors from the GLCAC, Inc (Greater Lawrence Community Action Council). The wonderful people from this organization will be bringing in The Mitten a folktale adapted & illustrated by Jan Brett & a wonderful Animal Track Identification Guide program, the book and Guide are free to bring home. Admission for Monday will be $5.00 for this event.

Our Mini Maker hours are from 9:30am-12pm Monday, Wednesday & Friday. GLCAC will be visiting at 10:30am and always have wonderful education material to share.

Exploring with Nature

Our sensory box will be open during our drop-in hours this week.

We’ll be bringing in all the wonderful things about fall inside to explore with, leaves, pinecones, acorns, rocks. How would you describe a leaf? Do you have something special you found outside? Bring it in and tell us all about it! Each child will make something to bring home.

Mini Makers Pumpkin exploration

Come join us Thursday October 23rd for our first Mini Makers workshop. We'll be exploring with pumpkins! How much does the pumpkin weigh? How many pumpkins tall are you? find out these answers and more.

 The Mini Maker exploration is an instructor lead activity followed by open play. Express your creativity through exploring. Each week will focus on a different theme. Children will explore, observe, ask questions, and predict. Every child will make a special craft/project that can be taken home. This workshop is interactive and hands-on.

Mini Maker zone

The Mini Maker zone is open daily for kids ages 3-6 to come and explore what we have to offer. During the week (Monday-Friday) 9-12 we'll have special theme activities and story times geared towards enlightening the minds of The Mini Makers in the community. Our space will also be open for free play so come on down and explore with us!
